Telling Story Workshop Guide - Available October 2020 - Please Subscribe to the Newsletter to be notified of when it is available.
When I used weaving as the medium for healing in the Telling Story course for individuals affected by sexual assault I had no idea just how perfect it was to non verbally express that trauma.
Researching the first people techniques further, I understood that their way has a time honoured practice for healing. The difference when applied to arts psychotherapy - is the process, the directive given to the subsconscience.
In this guide you will get it all. From beginning to end of how to run this program and what results you can expect and why. There is a science to it, but you wouldn’t know it.
My aim is to have people affected by sexual violence to have a coping skill, a supportive group and validation and recognition of the crimes committed against them as well as an amazing conversation starter for the community and society to talk about sexual violence culture and how to end it. This really has it all.
